International Vision Expo & Conference realizes that some vendors choose not to officially exhibit at Vision Expo and try to set appointments to preview their products off-site, even sending transportation to the Javits Center.
We are proud of the companies who choose to exhibit at Vision Expo and they have made this the largest and most successful eyecare event in the Americas for the past twenty six years. This year's show has seen an increase in square footage from 2011 with over 575 exhibitors - including 130 new companies - who want to make appointments with you to preview and sell their products.
Show your support of the industry and the entire ophthalmic community by choosing to only honor appointments with the vendors who dedicate their time, money and staff by officially exhibiting at the Javits Center. Proceeds from the annual tradeshow are re-invested into the industry and are used by The Vision Council to help educate consumers about the importance of vision care and the options in eyewear. International Vision Expo & Conference is issuing this statement because we know this event would not be possible without their support and yours.
