Additional Information
- Participation grants you eligibility for a reward, based on the customers you register through this SPMS Program, up to a maximum of $5,000 USD. Reimbursements in denominations of $200 and under, will be paid in Amex Gift Cheques. For each customer registered using the SPMS, that is considered a NEW attendee and visits the exhibits only, you will receive $25 USD. For each customer registered using the SPMS, that is considered a NEW attendee and visits the exhibits AND at least (1) paid continuing education course, you will receive $40 USD. A “NEW attendee” is considered to be anyone that has not attended International Vision Expo East in 2008 or 2009.
- You are not eligible for a reward for a customer registered using the SPMS that does not actually attend the Show. The customers you register using the SPMS MUST attend the show and MUST be a NEW attendee.
- Reward payments will be made by check approximately 60 days after the close of International Vision Expo East 2010. If you earn more than $100 USD, which many participants receive, you will be required to complete a 1099 Taxpayer ID request form for accounting purposes in order for your check to be issued. You are solely responsible for and shall pay any federal, state, local, or foreign taxes that may be payable by applicable law in respect of any payments made hereunder.
- Maximum reward payout to an individual Sales Professional is $5,000 USD, exclusive of The Vision Council Bonus, if applicable.
- The SPMS Program is for promotion of FREE exhibit hall admission to your customers only. You may not promote FREE exhibit hall admission to non-customers. Any promotion through purchased search engine ad words, internet ads, or any other ads or media not limited exclusively to your company database is prohibited and will result in your disqualification from the SPMS Program. If you are disqualified, your SPMS registered customers may still receive FREE exhibit hall admission, subject to show attendee eligibility rules, but you will forfeit any rewards earned. In addition, please be advised that any use of the Show name and logo in violation of the foregoing may subject you to legal liability under federal and State trademark law.
- By participating in the SPMS Program, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, as such may be amended from time to time in the sole discretion of Reed Exhibitions.
- Promotion of the Sales Rep Program and related free registration links is prohibitive through any form of mass media, i.e., internet without written consent of the event organizer Reed Exhibitions and The Vision Council.
Example 1:
If you register your customer through SPMS for International Vision Expo East 2010 and such customer did not attend International Vision Expo East in either 2008 or 2009, you are eligible for a reward if such customer actually attends the Show. If such customer attends the exhibit hall only, you will receive $25 USD. If such customer also takes at least one (1) paid Continuing Education Course at the Show, you will receive $40 USD. The maximum amount qualified Sales Professionals can receive per eligible registrant is $40 USD. The maximum reward amount you can receive for all of your SPMS registered customers is $5,000 USD.
Example 2:
If you register your customer through SPMS for International Vision Expo East 2010 and such customer attended International Vision Expo East in either 2008 or 2009, you are not eligible for a reward for such customer. However, your customer will still receive FREE exhibit hall admission ($75 value), provided your customer meets the Show attendee eligibility rules.
