Norwalk, CT (February 13, 2011) – Exclusive continuing education courses, an exhibit hall with cutting-edge products and one of a kind entertainment options make International Vision Expo & Conference, held March 16-20, 2011 (Conference: March 16–20, Exhibition: March 18–20) at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, THE place to be this spring.

The International Vision Expo Conference Advisory Board has worked with a number of specialty optical groups—including the Optometric Retina Society, the Optometric Council on Refractive Technology and the Optometric Nutrition Society—to put together a comprehensive conference program featuring experts from various fields.

In addition, show management is pleased to announce that the Management & Business Academy™ (MBA), created by CIBA Vision and Essilor, will expand to International Vision Expo this year. Endorsed by the American Optometric Association and The Vision Council, the MBA provides continuing education on topics including staff management, practice performance measurement, practice growth strategies, utilizing market research and more.

Also new to International Vision Expo East this year is the award-winning Vision Mobile technology. Via their mobile device, Vision Expo conferees will be able to plan their show, make appointments with exhibitors they wish to see, explore exhibitor show specials and quickly navigate the show floor via interactive maps on their device. With hundreds of exhibitors and even more show specials, Vision Mobile technology will certainly come in handy on the show floor.
